Teens aged 13–18 dive into entrepreneurship by transforming ideas into actionable business plans. From eco-friendly ventures to tech startups, students brainstorm, validate, and pitch ideas in a Shark Tank-style competition. Guest speakers from local startups provide real-world insights, while tools like Canva help design pitch decks.

Objective:
Develop innovation, business planning, and pitching skills to launch scalable ventures.

Workshop Content:

  1. Ideation & Validation:
    • Brainstorm solutions to problems (e.g., eco-friendly products, food waste, tutoring gaps).
    • Market research basics: target audience, competitors.
    • “Start-Up Sprint”
      • Teams use craft supplies to prototype a product (e.g., reusable straws).
      • Draw “Resource Cards” (e.g., “Marketing Expert”, “$100 Seed Funding”).
  2. Business Planning:
    • Costs & Revenue: Calculate startup costs, pricing, and profit margins.
    • Sustainability: Integrate eco-friendly or social impact goals.
    • Game Reflection:
      • “How did limited resources affect your design? What would you improve?”
  3. Pitch Preparation:
    • Craft a 3-minute pitch with problem, solution, and financials.
    • Design slides using Canva/Google Slides.
    • Pitch Practice
      • Role-play investor Q&A (e.g., “How will you scale this?”).
  4. Interactive Activity:
    • Pitch Competition: Present to judges; winners earn “seed funding” (virtual currency).
